Tennis

Every Wednesday room 6 has grasshopper tennis.I don't really like it because I'm used to bigger courts.We have to do skills that I know but the only fun thing about it is that all the games we play are games that I don't know. Tennis is very exhausting and partly interesting but I prefer other sports like soccer, dancing and swimming!It may seem like I enjoy it but I don't really.

Soccer Skills

Every Wednesday we have soccer skills.I find it really fun because I already play soccer.My team is the Nelson City Cobras,we play in 8'Th grade which we just finished this year! Soccer skills is also teaching people that don't play soccer good skills like dribbling and dodging. Room 6 loves soccer skills and to prove it there is a picture below!

Calender Art

This week we have been making our calender art.Some people did theirs on the computer like me and some people did theirs on the piece of paper.Mine took about 3 days to draw but I put ALLOT of work and detail in it.I think mine is quite cool but every one else had awesome pictures as well.Usually we do ti on the paper but when we heard that we could do it on the computer as well quite allot of us were interested.It was really fun when we got the chance to do it on the computer.

Our exciting activity!

At school me Eva, George, Ayla, Sylvie, Katrina and Charlotte manged to get all of us up on the pole that leads up to the rope swing. We did this because we thought that it was a good and fun idea. Eva was on the far right Sylvie went next to Eva, Katrina went on the far left, Ayla went next to Katrina. Charlotte went in the front on the middle pole George went behind Charlotte and I went behind George! Since then we've been building a hut!

My holidays

In the holidays my friend Scarlett and my brothers friend Caleb came to our house because they are our friends and we wanted them to stay.When we got back from the airport we ate lunch and drunk fizzy drinks because it was Scarlett's birthday the next day.

After we had lunch we went to Founders Park,as we got there we saw that the Rail Car was running so we asked my mum if we could go on it but the next ride was in one hour!while we were waiting we looked around at the old hospital and other stuff.After it had been an hour we finally got to ride on the Rail Car but unfortunately not for free.When we got to the big pile of dirt we all said"Uh Oh!"Then the driver said "It's more uh oh then you think that's the main toilet block at Myazu Gardens!".So we had to back to were we started from.Then we went back to say thank-you we got an ice-block and I got a Menphis Meltdown,we put our rubbish in the bin and walked home.

Purple cake day

On Tuesday the 1st it was purple cake day.I was in the choir and we sang three songs.We were lucky because Kath Bee came and sang a song for us.They were selling cupcakes as well and I bought one they were yummy!My sister made some of the cupcakes and one of my friends got one of the cupcakes that my sister made!Purple cake day was awesome and fun.It was the best day ever!I love purple cake day it's so cool. I also love cupcakes!

Kahikatea triathlon

On the 23rd of February on the front field Kahikatea did a triathlon. First the swimmers went and then they tagged the runners and they ran two laps of the front field then tagged the people that scooted. After a while the triathlon was finished and everyone had fun. I wish that we could do it again !
